I met up with Hailey & Jonah this week for their engagement session and I am SO thrilled to have this sweet couple as part of my fall wedding lineup! ♥  Hailey sent me over some beautiful example photos of a location and style she loved.  We found the perfect spot nearby to create images that I am so proud of and excited to share.  

I love that this couple showed up ready to have fun and literally said "you just tell us what to do and we'll do it."  Photographer's dream!  Not only are they a beautiful couple, but their go-with-the-flow attitude and ability to have fun with it created such genuine, beautiful moments for me to capture.  

A favorite moment of mine is when I was a distance off testing my settings and I heard Jonah say softly to Hailey as they sat in the field together "I can't wait to marry you." 

At the end of the session, we threw some blankets and pillows in the truck bed, and they shared a beer together... and I felt like I wasn't a photographer posing a couple, but just documenting a sweet time together of laughter and enjoying one another's company.  Isn't that what makes marriage so good?  Finding the person you want to share all those little moments with.  Sharing a drink together after a long day.  Dancing in the bed of the truck.  Stealing kisses.  Laughing at yourselves.  

And that's what engagement sessions are all about - celebrating your love for one another, and the lifetime of little moments together to come. Congratulations Hailey & Jonah!! Thank you for having me as your photographer!  Can't wait to celebrate with you on the wedding day!
